@laurenissuchaweirdo because people have opposing tastes in music, and that’s okay. it’s alright to be accepting of other people’s music if you’d like them to do the same. anyways, yes, this song is amazing and i could listen to it forever.

@OhLookItsAlexandra A good piece of art means many different things to many different people, but I understand your point of view. For me, I struggle with addiction so that’s what I hear when I listen to it. This is just a beautiful song through and through with meanings ad infinitum.

This song reminds me of a night me and my boyfriend saw a movie. We had to walk 40 minutes to my house from where the bus stop was. It was incredibly cold, rainy and windy. At one point I stopped and sat outside a supermarket not wanting to get up and walk because I was so cold. At this point he offered me his pants, but i didn’t want him to be cold. About a quarter of the way home he insisted I wear his clothes and wouldn’t take no for an answer. He walked home in his nothing but underwear.

i mean why can’t people realize that THIS is good music. No Bieber or Gaga or any rapper ever has anything as real and emotional as Conor Oberst. Then again, if everybody knew about him, then what you’re doing now wouldn’t be so special. Anyway Conor is a genius.
