I’m not sure, I haven’t been there, but I was In Alexandria the last year.
But it’s nothing, it’s like 1 dollar or something.

There’s not a set price. It depends on how good you are in negotiating. You have to negotiate with the cab driver. If they know you are a foreigner, they will surely charge you much more. You should consider hiring a personal driver and not a taxi.

u can rent acar for 600 dollar amonth with adriver just go to any car rental agency and they will help u

when you are in any of these cities , and want to go to a place , stop a taxi , and ask the driver about the fare .
try to bargain if the fare is too high .
if the driver accepts , go into the taxi.
if he refuses , let him go , and stop another .
bargain at a better fare , and take the taxi when the driver accepts the fare .
each city is different according to demand on taxis .
so, the fare depends on the city .

Usually the tarrif is 2 Egyptian Pounds in places other than the major cities (as in Beni suef, minia , tanta .. etc)
Major cities have much higher tarrifes that depends on the trip itself.. But still , once they see you a foreigner they try to rip you off. My advice : Always negotiate first.

now in Egypt you can call a taxi by phone will cost you 1.25 LE per kilometer the taxi company phone number 16516 and 19155
