Most underated band ever! They were the soundtrack to my youth! Best times of my life. When i listen to em now I bore my 18 year old lad telling him how they don’t make bands like they used to tha knows! Seem em few times, supporting the roses, duchess gig’s and even at champers nightclub in Keighley!! They’re my all time favourite band, love there sound.

Great Leeds band, saw them live a few times, the best was at the Reading Festival back in 90( i think ) in the Mean Fiddlers Tent. Heard the singer Mick Roberts went through a bit of a bad time after the band split, anybody know how he’s doing now ?

I,ve played the guitar twenty years and was inspired by your dad ….I really rated him and still love his fast rhythm playing and I would pay good money for a lesson even now

I saw them supporting the Buzzcocks at the Town and Country in 1990, and they were superb. Criminally under rated – if you don’t like this track you’re a lamp post, as Peel would say.
Wonderful.

I don’t need to excplaitnate the apprecaitions for those who understand.
I remeber my gym teacher telling me that wasn’t allowed on my tee shirt.

this was their best but with so many top tunes they deserved a lot more than they got, they backed the carpets up in early 90 then i saw them on their own at the international about april 90 and clint boon turned up on his todd to give them support(top man) seem to remember tripping at the gig to but thats another story lol oh the good times
January 9th, 2011 at 1:49 am
where are they all now, what are they doing
January 9th, 2011 at 2:10 am
Ohh! The memories of your demo tape. Seans fizzy guitar patterns. Songs that spoke to the eighties generation. John Peel was a fan. That tells you something . Should never have split. Liam Gallagher was pretending to be Ian Brown in his mirror in bedroom when you were rocking on…
