Thurn and Taxis: For Power and Glory is the expansion to Thurn & Taxis (you have to have Thurn and Taxis to play P&G) where players establish post office houses in different Northern Germany towns. Play is similar to Thurn and Taxis. The major differences are the addition of free cities and that you have to play horses to get to all the cities your route passes thru. Play is fun and light, easily playable from 2-4 players. I’ve found that the game play is different according to the number of players in the game with a 4 player games being a little more lively and less easy to plan. While this is a re-work of the original game, its a fun game to enjoy the night with. Because of this I’ve rated the durability a 5, but the education value is only a 3 because the material is largely a repeat. The new value in education is familiarizing people with towns in Germany. Bottom line, a 4 star game that’s good to add to your collection.
